Combining a facelift and forehead lift is very common. These procedures smooth the wrinkles and lines in the face to rejuvenate the face and skin.
Reasons for considering a Brow Lift

- Wrinkles on the forehead due to age
- Heavy frown lines

How is the procedure performed?
Our expert CRNAs will place the patient under IV sedation. The temporal brow lift procedure begins with two incisions made on the hairline of the patient in the shape of a diamond. The skin between the incision and the brow line is cut and removed. The scarring is almost invisible and to prevent fluid from collecting when the skin is stitched back together, drains are placed on the hairline.
Another method of a brow lift is called the coronal brow lift. This procedure involved making an incision across the scalp towards the brow and the skin is lifted and pulled tight. The surgeon cuts the excess skin away when the wound is sutured shut. This procedure should be performed on patients with a low hairline because a disadvantage to this method is the rising of the hairline. This method also could contribute a noticeable scar. Hence, An advantage of the coronal brow lift is that a noticeable elevation of the brows is present.
