Liposuction For Men
Liposuction for Men, or Lipoplasty is a procedure that slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits. The procedure improves your body contours and proportion, and ultimately, enhances your self-image. Used to reduce localized fat deposits of the Abdomen and waist, Liposuction has become popular with health driven patients.
Facelift, Breast Reduction or Tummy Tuck may be incorporated along side a Liposuction surgery procedures. Liposuction can be performed, wherever there are excess fat deposits to be found. Quite often, patients have more than one area treated at a time during surgery. The results are immediate and impressive.
At the initial consultation, our surgeon Dr. Greg DeLange will conduct an examination and discuss patient goals, techniques, risks and cost. During the procedure, after the patient is placed under local or IV sedation, Dr. DeLange will make small incisions and insert a narrow tube, called a canula, to break up and remove excess fat.
We use the newest techniques, such as Tumescent Liposuction (in which the doctor injects a saline solution to make fat deposits easier to remove) and Ultrasonic Liposuction (in which the doctor uses sound waves to melt the fat) and they have made the process safer with better results. And the good new, Liposuction is an outpatient procedure.
Consequently, if you’re having a problem losing weight in certain areas, this procedure could be the solution for you. Therefore, this should not be your solution to weight loss, just a treatment for those stubborn areas. Liposuction can dramatically or subtly provide for a more symmetrical appearance.
